Made from seamless cold drawn steel for better wall thickness consistency and axial flex characteristics; and finished using the finest centerless grinding techniques. There is no straighter axle anywhere. Axles are engraved with letters representing the grade for easy organization. 30mm axles are available in four grades; listed below with their respective wall thicknesses and the letter engraved on them: Medium (M) û 3.9mm wall Soft (S) û 3.0mm wall Very Soft (VS) û 2.5mm wall Ultra Soft (US) û 2.1mm wall These four axles are all 1040mm long. We also offer the Soft; Very Soft; and Ultra Soft axles in a longer; 1120mm length; at an additional $11.00 charge. All axles require one of two pegged keys depending on whether your hubs have 6mm or 8mm wide keyways. For 6mm wide keyways; please use Pegged Key (size B); or for 8mm wide keyways; use Pegged Key (size C). Margay chassis require the brake keyway to be machined in a different location than most brands. We are pleased to make this modification for you at no additional charge; however; be aware that this may delay shipment of your order by one business day.
